Mountain Biking Tours in Nepal
Mountain biking is a challenging biking tour in the Himalayas of Nepal. So what exactly is a single-track mountain bike, and how does it differ from riding an MTB trail? While the single-track trails have much to offer the riders, they must be physically and mentally ready to face the challenges ahead of the trip. The mountainous and hilly areas are rugged and remote, with high-altitude wilderness, while some of the trails involve 2-3 hours of hiking/ pushing/carrying your bike to get to the top! Our trails are raw and natural, making them exciting and challenging for the riders. The most common trail type has a width that varies from just a little wider than your shoulders up to a track that is just wide enough for two bikes to pass. Many single-track trails are open to one-way travel and wind their way through the best terrain the landscapes offer. We never said it would be easy, but it is worth it! We use supporting transportation Jeeps, buses, and local Porters and Ponies to assist you to the joint trails. However, we try to avoid the dusty roads with noise from the crowded cities as much as possible. Some trails are close to the town and offer almost limitless variations on the ride - from a day to a week or more, in stylish hotels or roughing it in lodges, tea houses, guest houses, or camping.
White water rafting in Nepal
Nepal offers one of the best places for rafting. With hundreds of perennial rivers emerging from the Himalayas, tourists looking for a varied adventurous experience can choose an appropriate rafting route depending on their time and needs. While beginners can raft in the easy Trishuli River during high water (monsoon) or low water, others looking for more adventure can try difficult ones like Bhotekoshi, Marshyangdi, and Karnali.
