Terms and Condition
Tourists travelling through Yatri Trekking should abide by its terms and conditions.
Reservation & Confirmation
Tourist accepting the Yatri trekking's proposal can make reservation by filling its submission form or by providing reservation request. Reservation will be confirmed on the 20% down payment of the total amount by bank transfer. The remaining amount has to be paid to Yatri Trekking Pvt. Ltd on your arrival in Kathmandu.
For travels agencies bank transfer should be made 30 days prior to the trek departure.
Tourist making reservation directly at the office of Yatri Trekking, client should make the full payment before departure to the trip

Remark: The bank transfer charge should be paid by client
If any client interrupts its journey, during the trek, for any possible reason such as accidents, high altitude or other illness, etc…. Yatri Trekking will not reduce the payment or make any concession.
Cancellation
On annulling before 30 days of arrival, a contractual sum of US$ 50 and file expenses will be deducted.
20 - 29days prior to trek departure, US$ 50 + 20% of the down payment will be deducted.
10 - 19 days prior to departure, US$ 50 + 50% will be deducted.
Less than 9 days prior to departure, 100 % payment will be deducted.
Price Charges
We quote all the prices as per the current market situation. Therefore, if there are any changes in airfare, exchange rate or inflation rate, we reserve the right to alter our tariff.
We also reserve the right to demand surcharges for the costs caused by unforeseen events.
Refunds
Yatri trekking will not refund if a client leaves a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily, once it has begun. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodations, airfares or services not used.
During the period of trekking and expedition, if any participant wants to leave camp and wants to do other additional activities, we will not be responsible to provide meals, accommodation and other services, which had already mentioned in our previous tariff.
Delay & Changes
Yatri trekking will not be held responsible for any delays or changes in itineraries caused by any unforeseen events, inaccuracy or other circumstances such as delayed flight (domestic or international), road blockade, etc… The company and field staffs reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary if they judge them to be necessary.
Price Validity
Our prices get finalized only after the rates sent are accepted and go along with by a down payment. The amendment in foreign exchange rates or the national price rises can lead to re-adjustment in our price.
Security:
Yatri Trekking declines all the responsibilities concerning the participants who do not have an insurance covering interruption of visit, flight losses, luggages damage, health, re-search expenses, rescue, medical expenses…
Insurance:
Yatri Trekking accept the reservation request only from those tourists who have insurance covering all the cost for cancellation, accidents, health, helicopter rescue, repatriation, losses, theft or damage of baggage, etc….
Even if you have insurance for above-mentioned headings, we strongly recommend to make sure if they are sufficient to cover those costs. Experiences showed us many tourists realizing the inadequacy of their insurance when it was too late.
Do not forget to inform your insurance company that you are going for a hike (country + altitude) and ask that your contract (in return for a supplementary premium) include a clause of repatriation by helicopter up to Kathmandu or your home town.
