Mountain Biking tours in Nepal
Mountain biking is a challenging biking tour in the Himalayas of Nepal. So what exactly is a single track mountain bike, and how does it differ from riding an MTB trail ? While the single-track trails have a lot to offer to the riders, they must be physically and mentally ready to face the challenges that lie ahead of the trip. The mountainous and hilly areas are rugged and remote, with high-altitude wilderness, while some of the trails involve 2-3 hours of hiking/ pushing/carrying your bike to get to the top! Our trails are raw and natural, making them exciting and challenging for the riders. The most common trail type has a width that varies from just a little wider than your shoulders up to a track that is just wide enough for two bikes to pass. Many single-track trails are open to one-way travel and wind their way through the best terrain that the landscapes have to offer. We never said it would be easy, but it is worth it! We use supporting transportation Jeeps, buses, and local Porters and Ponies to assist you to the joint trails. However, we try to avoid the dusty road with noise from the crowded cities as much as possible. Some trails are close to the town and offer almost limitless variations on the ride - from a day to a week or more, in stylish hotels or roughing it in lodge, tea houses, guest house or camping.
