The Royal Government of Bhutan has set an all-inclusive fixed tariff.
The Royal Government of Bhutan has set an all inclusive fixed tariff, the packages applicable per night for travelling in a group of 3 people or more. These must be paid in US dollars prior to arrival in Bhutan.
- Peak Season (March/May, Sept/Nov) US $ 200 per person per nigh
- Off-Season (June/Aug, Dec/Feb) US $ 170 per person per night
- Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) US $ 100 per person per night
Surcharges
For individual and small groups of less than 3 participants, there is additional surcharge above the daily applicable rates as follows:
- Single Pax US $ 40 per day
- Group of 2 persons US $ 30 per person per day
Inclusive
Accommodation on the twin sharing basis with meals, transfers and sightseeing within Bhutan by a deluxe vehicle. The services of the guide/porters/ponies wherever required Royalty & Taxes to the Government. Monastery and Monument entrance fee if any.
Reservation Policy:
- For all festival dates, bookings must be sent or confirmed on or before 100 days prior to the date of arrival in Bhutan. Bookings that are not confirmed after 100 days will be treated as canceled, and the reservations will be released to avoid cancellation charges from the hotels.
- Any bookings received/reinstated after the 100-day period will be accepted depending on the availability of air tickets and hotels.
Cancellations and refund
Tour programs booked and subsequently cancelled shall be subject to cancellation charges as follows.
- Before 45 days No charge
- Within 30 to 45 days 50% refund
- Less than 30 days /no shows/early departures after arrival in Bhutan 100% nonrefundable.
Delayed arrival/departure : There shall be no charge for the number of days of delays in arrival/departure of visitors due to weather condition, Airlines problems or roadblocks. They will be charged only the actual expenses on accommodation, food and transport and other required services
Trekking with a group or alone/private?
It is possible for trek to Bhutan on group as well as individual (private trek) but in the both case we can guide you. For individual there is surcharge. Unlike elsewhere in the Himalaya, there is no teahouse or lodges along the treks to provide food or accommodation. For a detail enquiry you can check official website to visit Bhutan
Trip Cost:
A trip to Bhutan is not cheap but what every you pay is all-include about $ 100 per day contribution towards education and health service. Check official website to visit Bhutan
Discounts:
- Diplomats from foreign embassies and missions accredited to Bhutan shall be given a 25% discount on the daily tariff.
- The students below the age of 25 years holding valid identity cards from their academic institutions shall also be given a 25% discount on daily rates.
- Children up to the age of 5 years are free of cost. Those between 6 to 12 years accompanied by their guardians are entitled 50% discount.
- 1 group leader above 15 paying persons is given 100% complimentary. A discount of 50% is given to one person in a group of 11 to 15 pax.
