We did a 4 day and 3 night trek towards Poon Hill (3600 m max on the trek). Everything went very well, in particular thanks to Ganja the guide and Saela the porter who were excellent traveling companions. Very attentive, reliable, always in a good mood, we had a good laugh!
The lodges are of several types, some more Spartan than others but always comfortable and clean, we keep very good memories. The menus offer choice, even in remote villages.
We walked while the rhododendrons were in bloom at the end of April, which made our journey truly enchanting.
To see the mountains, we had to get up very early (before sunrise) because then the atmosphere became cloudy with the humidity. No rain during the trek.
Bring cash if you want to buy bottled mineral water or extras, knowing that everything is a little more expensive in the mountains (200 rupees per bottle of water).
The trails are very well laid out and maintained which makes walking easy. The guide sets the pace which is really leisurely, with several “short and sweet breaks” to regain energy when it goes up a bit. We rarely walk more than 2.5 hours in a row between leaving the lodge and arriving at the lunch restaurant or the evening lodge. Bring maps or a book because you usually arrive early and have time to relax before dinner.

Very good, well-supervised trek. Excellent in terms of safety and the possibility of seeing sunsets. I recommend YATRITREKKING. Very warm welcome from the agency, which chooses quality. The only small downside is that meals are taken in the lodges. I would have liked to have a picnic during the passes and have a guide who speaks more French than English. However, the guide is very friendly, very competent, and knows almost all the peaks...

Road trip from Kathmandu to Lhasa by car. We had to acclimatize to the cold and the altitude around the border. Then crossed grandiose landscapes on a ribbon of asphalt, dotted with small Tibetan villages, a few passes at 5,200 meters and high altitude rivers and lakes. Discovery of wonderfully preserved and maintained Buddhist temples in Xigatse and Lhasa.

Knowing Nepal for having been there several times, for various reasons we changed agencies and left as professionals with a group with YATRI. As Mountain Guides, we supervised the trekking to the CB of Everest. First of all, Iman and her guides speak very good French and are very kind, very "made in Nepal". In addition to these two qualities, what we particularly appreciated can be summed up in two points: adaptability and always listening to the best of the clients. For example, having been unable to take the plane to Lukla because of bad weather, in the morning the decision to leave by land was made and implemented in collaboration with her guide Dilip. We were thus able to catch up on our program to honor our reservations. Then, having had extra days, we were able to enrich the trek by adding, for example, the CB of Ama Dablan. We spent 3 weeks with a very varied program prepared for us by Iman. First visit to the three royal cities Patan, Bhaktapur and Kathmandu. After spending a night at the Namo Buddha monastery, head to Chitwan Park, Bandipur then Pokhara. A week of trekking around the Annapurna balcony. We appreciated the professionalism, kindness and availability of Iman and her team. We had very good contact with our cultural guide (Biswo) then with our trekking guide (Sanu) who knew how to share with us the heritage of their country. We will happily come back and highly recommend Yatri for the quality of their service.

Excellent experience on the Gokyo and Everest Base Camp trek this fall 2023, with the agency. Contact with the director Iman is completely facilitated by his great commitment and availability. Our guide Lil Bahadur (like his assistant guides, Mingma and Ram) was a real gem, of skills, kindness and availability, from the first to the last day. The porters (who are chosen by the guide) were also perfect, always smiling, always punctual. (this agency respects the regulations and working conditions of porters, which is not the case for all agencies). I had the opportunity to meet another guide from the agency (Dilip) and he too is very professional in addition to being warm. Following this experience I can highly recommend this agency and say that it really strives for quality.

Magnificent trek, the Annapurna Sanctuary was a dream for some of us, But once this goal was reached, the most beautiful was still to come: the last stages off the tourist trails, notably Muldai Peak, are sublime. And the meeting with the Nepalese of Lespar will also remain unforgettable. Communication with the agency via Iman Gurung was very easy beforehand. And on site our guide Bhabi proved to be a true guardian angel, very attentive, and who taught us a lot about this beautiful country. Thank you again!
