The itinerary sticks together Annapurna Classic Circuit at Ngawal village, a picturesque settlement that offers stunning views of the Annapurna range. From here, the trail gradually leads you towards the beautiful village of Manang, following the well-trodden paths of the Annapurna Circuit. Manang, with its rich Tibetan culture, breathtaking landscapes, and dramatic mountain backdrops, is a perfect place to rest and experience the charm of high Himalayan life.
Leaving Manang, the trek diverges from the main classic circuit trail once again and ventures towards the pristine Tilicho Lake. On the way, you pass through Khangsar, the last inhabited village before the lake, where traditional stone houses and fluttering prayer flags mark the resilience of life at such high altitude. The trail climbs steadily to reach Tilicho Lake, situated at an altitude of 4,919 meters. Known as one of the highest lakes in the world, Tilicho is surrounded by towering snow peaks, and its turquoise waters create a truly magical and serene atmosphere.
After exploring the tranquil beauty of Tilicho Lake, the adventure itinerary return back to link the Annapurna classic circuit at Yak Kharka then continues towards famous Thorang la pass ( 5416m) Crossing this high pass rewards trekkers with panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, before making the descent into the Kali Gandaki Valley.
