Trekking Manaslu circuit via Upper route of Rupinala pass (4700m)

The trek along the upper route of the Manaslu trek takes you towards Rupina La pass (4700m), following a ridge of a mountain through a rhododendron forest. After Dharchey hill, there are no villages until we reach the valley that leads us to Manaslu. We will have the opportunity to explore local customs and cultures, visit monasteries, and encounter prayer flags, prayer wheels, and prayer walls after Nyak village.

Rupina La pass (4700m), or the high route of the Manaslu trek, is an off-the-beaten-path adventure through topographically challenging terrain. Enriched with cultural heritage and biodiversity, the trail winds along the ridge of the mountain through a rhododendron forest. The pass is renowned for its breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal, Mt. Manaslu (8163m), lush valleys, and astonishing landscapes.

Mt. Manaslu (8163m) is the eighth highest peak in the world and this area was opened for the trekking only in 1992. It is located near to the Tibet border. The permits are compulsory to all the foreigners to enter the mythical universe of living Tibetan tradition.

Manaslu region is one of the delightful adventures in Nepal, as it provides spectacular beauty along the border of Nepal and Tibet. The trekking to this area has been considered to be one of the finest tourist destinations in Nepal, as one can enjoy with the panoramic views of the majestic Himalayas stretched across the area. This valley is a sanctuary to many highly endangered animals, including Snow Leopards and Pandas, different species of birds, mammals, grey wolf, musk deer, blue sheep and the Himalayan Thar, butterflies and reptiles. Medicinal herbs and aromatic plants have also been recorded in the Manaslu region

  • Transfer:  Airport / Hotel pick up & drop by private car/van as per group size.
  • Transportation: Kathmandu/Gorkha, Bhulbhule/Kathmandu traveling by private reserve bus
  • Full board basis during the trekking in tent, camping equipment will be provided such as two-men tents, dining tent, foam mattresses, stools and all cooking and kitchen gear, meals will be prepared by our kitchen staff (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea and coffee.), (Except beverage).
  • An Experienced & Professional Government license holder English speaking trained Trekking guide.
  • Entry permit for Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), Entry permit for Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP),
  • Special trekking permit for Manaslu You will require 4 passport size photos.
  • 4 nights in hotel Manaslu at Katmandu or Similar category on a twin sharing bed and
  • First aid kit will be available during the trek.
  • All personal gears and group equipments will be carried by porter i.e. (1 porter for 2 clients, one porter carry max 20 kg).
  • Staffs Insurance.

  • Meals in Katmandu (Near about $US 10 – 15 per day/person)
  • Nepal entry Visa Fee (You can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Nepal ’s Airport in Katmandu). You are required 2 passport size photos.
  • International Airfare and Airport Taxes.
  • Entrance fees in the Historical site /Monument at KTM.
  • Any kind of Alcoholic, hot and cold drinks or bar menu.
